Good Music, Good Lyrics

I like mewithoutYou's music so much, mainly because of the lyrical content. I like their music so much because of their rhythmic music. OK... I like it because of both. The lyrics are plain yet poetic. Yes, he talks most of the time...which reminds me of a conversation with another person almost. They are Christian and real...unafraid of revealing the personal side of life. I find that so important in music. The band recently converted their touring vehicle to an engine that burns vegetable oil , which I would love to do with my own car (If someone knows how to convert a gasoline engine to vegetable oil, let me know; as far as I know you can only convert diesel). Aaron spent some time with The Simple Way folks (the people in PA that I wrote about a little while ago.) Love. David

Bought a House, Acts 2:42, I Lack Discipline

Hey Friends, We just bought a house. I'll post some pictures soon...don't worry. I have some things that God is brewing inside me, though. I just read an article based on Acts 2:42...and it has me question the way I live my life as a Christian. Question with me. The scripture is about the early church's priorities. I am uncomfortable knowing that my life is not full of these things. I believe that all of these areas are pointed out for a reason. They are not generic terms that God wrote in His word. They a

The Call

Hey Friends, Sarah and I just returned from the Call , Nashville. I am posting pictures on our Picasa page. 14 hours, 100,000-some people in Titan Stadium. A prayer walk down Church Street. Repentance was a major theme of the day...and this time. I (David) was deeply impacted by many of the people repenting that day for certain groups who had performed injustices based on the rebellion we inherited through the fall. Repentance is the first step towards living as God intended us to live. It is the first Call. We then move...as in war. This is not a game, brothers and sisters. War cries. Spiritual intercession. Praise to God for his work. Prayers to end abortion and for a spirit of adoption to come over the church. Horton Hears a Who. Horton Hatches the Egg. God is calling people closer to His heart. The Call was a definite witness to that. I believe that we are heading into a time of extremes...more stadium Christianity, more passionate followers of God, less luke-warm. There
