On The More Spiritual Side

I have probably checked my email 10 times more than average today. It is a good thing, at least I am getting back to people quickly. I was taken inside my heart by my Aunt Therese's email talking about a song by the band 'Mercy Me' entitled 'Spoken For' I believe. It was hardly mentioned in her email, but my response really revealed something that I find uncomprehensible. I'll let you read for yourself. I'm picking up your Jars CD and I also want to get the Mercy Me CD. Uncle Joe loves the song Spoken For . . . He says the words give him chills every time he hears it. He likes the part where the song says "that one's mine" I really like another song on that CD but my mind is blanking right now as to what it is. I think their song writing is great. Are you going to be home for Easter? I got it! "Here with me" Therese [My Response] Hey Aunt-T, 'Spoken For' is such an amazing song. Over the past few weeks I have been learning a...

Keeping Healthy

Welcome back, Well , I have had an interesting couple days. Yesterday I could hardly move my body, therefore keeping me indoors the whole day, no classes, no walking, etc. I am pretty sure that I had some sort of flu yesterday, and my temperature didn't break until sometime last night. mmmm! Waking up in a pool of your own sweat! Yummy. Today I haven't really eaten anything; i've just been downing the liquids as much as possible. Nick hypothosizes that it all started with something I ate. Yuck. Food grosses me out right now. As far as the effects of sickness, I have found it very discouraging that I cannot concentrate on my readings for classes. I realize the truth of the situation though: I am sick! My stomache aches like no other, and my body is just tired in general. I was able to go to my classes today, but I still feel defeated. Like i'm not doing good enough...ugh! What a lie... Despite the sickness, some great news from yesterday: I have been accept...

There's More To This World Than What We See...

Greetings. Welcome back. It's already been a week and a day back in school...Only 15 more to go? Something like that. To be totally honest, coming back has been a transition for me. Going home for the long break was great...and reviving. I really enjoyed going home this time; I won't lie...it's hard going home from school. It's a different world. One of my friends described it as 'everything staying still while you're away; then you come back...and despite the fact you've grown so much, your family desperately tries to cram you back into the child they knew for so long.' I agree. I suspect that you most likely know exactly what I'm talking about. This time, though...I went home under the definition of 'guest'. I mean, for real...it is my dad's house. It was so relaxing to be back just under that identity. I had a great time in Seattle with my little cousins Makena, Katerina and Samantha. I would totally put pictures in here if I ...

OK, Sarah just informed me yesterday that this is a photo from Christmas Conference in Indianapolis last winter. Still one of my favorites. If you're wondering about the coloring...it's kinda jacked up b/c of the scan job. Add some more peach to our skins and that's how it really looks.
